A-CAM Certification Course:
Distance Learning Program


This course is designed to allow each student to progress at that student's own pace. Throughout the course, students are able to contact their educator by e-mail, skype or phone whenever questions arise. All sessions are voice recorded, and available to students for review.

Upon registration, student is sent Chapter 1 of Level 1 via e-mail. Upon completion of Chapter 1, student will contact her/his A-CAM Educator, to set-up the best time for both, to schedule their first session together. All sessions last between 1 and 1.5 hours. Reviews are always available, at a minimal cost of $25 per hour, upon request.

NOTE: This is a 17-week course (4 months minimum), students have 12 months to complete course from registration date. Student will set his or her own time frame for completion. Student can opt to be a part of the weekly live session or to view and listen to the recorded session independently. Student who opt for self-study can request to join in the live interactive sessions at any point. Course must be completed within 12 months. Extensions may be permitted in cases of hardship. Payment plans are available upon request.

A-CAM COURSE OUTLINE

Level 1- The A-CAM Practice ($259), 5 sessions and sample kit.


Level 2, 3, Blending Labs & Formulations ($500), 8 sessions, includes essential oil blending kit and A-CAM membership for 1 year

Level 4, Protocols of Practice, Final Exam ($100), 4 sessions, includes certification fees.

Level 1- The A-CAM Practice ($259)

1st Session- Theory
Part 1-Chapter 1: Student reads Chapter 1, at student's leisure. When finished he/she contacts his/her A-CAM Educator to set-up a live conference, for review, via Skype.

2nd Session- Theory
Part 2-Chapter 1: The completion of Chapter 1, with questions & answers and discussion of the uses and application of the Practitioner's Assessment Form, Environmental Red Flags and the A-CAM Protocols, on the uses of Plant Essential Oils and Related Herbs in Complementary Alternative Medicine.

3rd Session- Introduction to Plant Medicine. Essential Oils & Related Herbs
Part 1-Chapter 2 & Part 2-Chapter 2: Individual essential oils and their many uses in A-CAM Practice is cover in this session and basic introduction to product bases

4th Session-Power Point Presentation:

Level 4-The Role of the A-CAM Practitioner in CAM Practices

14th Session- Power Point Presentation: A-CAM Protocols, The formulation, combination & uses of A-CAM essential oils and Herbs in Practice.

15th Session- A-CAM Practitioner-Interactive "role play", based on real case studies, using the A-CAM concept.

16th Session-Review for Final Exam

NOTE: after 16th session, student will be sent, via e-mail, the A-CAM Practitioner's Final Exam. This is an open book exam, testing that the information that has been covered, is satisfactory understood. It is not a "test of memory" but a test of grasping the A-CAM Concept.

17th Session- Review Results of Final Exam and results.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be issued an A-CAM Practitioner Certificate. A-CAM Practitioners have the knowledge to either create their own product line and/or practice as an A-CAM Practitioner. One year of A-CAM membership and one year of access to the A-CAM Member Section of our website is included in this course.
